If the market value of your crypto collateral (e.g. Bitcoin or Ethereum) increases, your Loan-to-Value (LTV) decreases which means your loan becomes more secure and gives you more flexibility.
You Have Two Main Options:
Withdraw Excess Collateral
You may request to withdraw a portion of your collateral, provided your LTV stays at or below the original level.Example: If your loan began at a 50% LTV, you can withdraw collateral as long as the resulting LTV stays at or below 50%.
Apply for an Additional Loan
You may be eligible to borrow more against your appreciated collateral without needing to add more crypto. This is subject to maintaining the maximum allowed LTV and:The additional loan amount must be at least $10,000.
