To begin the loan closure process, simply submit a closure request directly through your APX Lending dashboard.
Once your request is submitted, our team will review the loan and provide your final repayment amount, including:
- Remaining principal
- Any accrued interest
- Any applicable fees (if applicable under your loan agreement)
How to request loan closure in the app
- Log in to your APX Lending account.
- Navigate to the specific Active Loan you would like to close.
- Inside the Loan Details page, click the three dots (⋯) in the top right corner.
- Select “Request to close” from the dropdown menu.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your closure request.
Once submitted, our team will review the request and contact you with the next steps.
CAD Loans
For CAD loans, repayment can be completed through one of the following methods:
1. PAD Withdrawal (Recommended)
The primary repayment method for CAD loans is PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) from your linked bank account.
Please note:
- We require at least 5 business days notice to schedule and set up the PAD withdrawal.
- Funds must be available in the linked account prior to the withdrawal date.
- Banking processing times can occasionally cause delays outside of our control.
2. Wire Transfer
For larger repayment amounts, wire transfer may be recommended instead of PAD.
If applicable, our team will provide wire instructions directly during the closure process.
3. Collateral Liquidation
We can sell a portion of your BTC collateral to cover the outstanding loan balance and return the remaining BTC collateral to your wallet address on file.
If you choose this option, our team will confirm the exact liquidation and return amounts with you before proceeding.
USDC Loans
For USDC loans, repayment is completed by sending USDC to the same repayment address used for your monthly interest payments.
Our team will confirm the repayment amount due and notify you once the funds have been received.
Collateral Return Process
Once your repayment has been fully received and confirmed:
- Your loan will be moved into closure processing.
- We will send a small test transaction to your designated return wallet address.
- Once you confirm receipt of the test transaction, we will send the remaining collateral balance.
Please note:
- In some cases, collateral retrieval from our custodian can take additional processing time
- We will keep you updated throughout each stage of the closure process.
You will also receive confirmation through your account and email once the loan has officially been closed.
